Nexans Solar Technologies is an internal branch of Nexans, created in 2018 as part of the transition plan towards renewable energies, which aims at providing solutions, products, and services to energy producers and investors.
The solar tracker from KEYLIOS® is the first solution entirely conducted by Nexans Solar Technologies, from design to manufacturing. A major contract had already been signed with a prominent developer of photovoltaic projects and an energy supplier providing more than 800 of these solar trackers to be established on four solar facilities located in the southwest of France.
In Passau's Haidenhof district, a new sports hall extends to the existing school building. A 196.8-foot-long indoor athletics competition facility with four tracks - the "sprint tunnel" - connects the hall and the existing building.
After more than 2 1/2 years of construction, the world’s highest 3S cableway, "Matterhorn glacier ride", opened at the end of September 2018. The $55 million project was developed to increase passenger capacity to the Klein Matterhorn, at an altitude of 12,802 ft. Additionally, it is now possible to keep the service running when performing maintenance work on the existing tramway.
From afar, visitors see a roller coaster standing alone on a green hill. When approaching, they understand why the atmosphere of a typical fair is missing in its surroundings.
It is not a roller coaster running at high speeds but an accessible construction with a staircase of a total of 705.3 ft. It is impossible, however, to pass through the structure in one run, because the loop is an obstacle that cannot be overcome.
The sluice gate is based on a pressure segment used to control the water level of the weir. The flap width is 23 ft, the total width of the structure is 34 ft. It is possible to dam water to a maximum height of 18 ft. The structure is made of S 355 steel.
